About Me
Before starting my career as an educator, I spent over 15 years with SDSU and UCSD conducting public health research focused on livable, walkable, healthy communities. I am a graduate of the Teaching Apprenticeship Program (TAP) at High Tech High's Graduate School of Education, where I earned a multiple subjects teaching credential. I completed my student teaching requirements at High Tech Elementary, working in 2nd and 5th grade classrooms as an embedded co-teacher.
